SRS Distribution Inc. consists of a family of industry-leading, independent roofing distributors with a common goal and purpose: to focus all of our efforts on serving the professional roofing contractor. SRS is a private company sponsored by Leonard Green & Partners and Berkshire Partners and led by a management team of industry veterans who understand the needs of the professional contractor.
SRS has grown rapidly through acquisitions and the opening of multiple new locations since the February 2008 inception (more fully detailed in "Our History"). This continual growth has established SRS as one of the fastest growing building products distribution companies in the U.S. SRS enjoys strong investor and banking relationships and a solid balance sheet to enable us to remain a high-growth company in the years ahead.

SRS has a very narrow product focus with roofing making up almost 95% of sales. This focus allows us to enjoy a broader and deeper inventory of roofing products at each location than many of our competitors. SRS Distribution Inc. (SRS) started in February of 2008 and quickly secured coast-to-coast operations in the United States. Originally a portfolio company of AEA Investors LP, SRS was initially formed to acquire the assets of Suncoast Roofers Supply and the story is uphill from there. Now SRS then became a portfolio company of Berkshire Partners and together we became the 3rd largest roofing distributor in the country. SRS is a private company sponsored by Leonard Green & Partners and Berkshire Partners LLC. SRS has experienced incredible growth through acquisitions and openings of new locations year-after-year and we don't intend to slow down any time soon.
CareersWe hire people in all 44 states as CDL Drivers, Inside Sales people, Rooftop Loaders, Warehouse personnel, Outside Sales people (Territory Managers), Assistant Branch Managers, and Branch Managers. Some locations have Dispatchers, Operations Managers, Administrative Assistants, Window Experts, and more. Our goal is to hire from within first. We have District Managers and Warehouse Managers who were once Drivers and ready for a change. We mostly sell roofing products in the residential and commercial markets, but we have locations selling doors, windows, siding, gutters, decking and more. So there are opportunities to learn our distribution business and multiple product lines.

For this reason in 2012, the SRS management team formed the SRS Raise the Roof Foundation, Inc., a non-profit organization whose mission is easily stated in three words “AND GIVE BACK.” This mission statement is simply a continuation of the company’s mission statement – “Make Money and Have Fun.”
All SRS employees believe the best way to give back to our communities is to draw upon our company’s unique business culture. We link the skills and passions of our more than 3,000 employees with philanthropic dollars donated by SRS Distribution, its customers and employees.
Disaster Relief and Helping Veterans
By living and working in the communities in which we do business, our employees are aware of the needs and issues in their communities. In past years, SRS Distribution has:
