Continuing Education

We believe in investing our associates. When we take care of them, they take care of our guests and thus pave their own way to success. Through our partnership with the American Hotel and Lodging Association, we've been able to add valuable programming to enhance skillsets and create a bench for future leaders. Such programs include the Apprenticeship Program, Accelerated Pathways - Debt-Free College Program, Cell-Ed (mobile ESL courses), and Tuition Reimbursement Assistance. 

Wellness

We also believe in the wellbeing of our associates. In addition to our benefits package, we want to make sure our associates are able to Thrive in all areas of their lives. 

1. Remington Relief Fund - This fund allows for financial assistance when an associate faces an unplanned emergency or natural disaster. This employee-funded program exemplifies how we take care of each other as a family. 

2. Gympass - A network of over 6,500 fitness centers in the U.S. is available to associates to keep them moving and living their healthiest lives. 

3. Back to School - Each year we provide our field associates with a back-to-school gift card to help start the academic school year off on the right foot.  

4. Housekeeping Week - Each year we celebrate the key associates that keep our hotel running smoothly. WIthout our housekeeping and engineering teams, our guests would not receive the high-quality service they are accustomed to experiencing.

Community Service
Giving back to the community is at the heart of our company. Twice a year we close the corporate office in Dallas for a day of community service. Each spring, our associates can choose to participate by building homes for the less fortunate with Habitat for Humanity, provide interviewing skills for those reentering the workforce with Job Corps, or other local charitable efforts. Providing multiple charity options allows associates to volunteer for the organization with which they feel the closest connection.

Every December, all corporate employees volunteer at the Salvation Army to assist with the Angel Tree program. Remington associates support the Angel Tree cause by donating gifts to the Angel Tree families and by helping the organization hand out gifts to the families each holiday season.

Our hotels are also committed to being a supportive part of their local communities. You will often find them fundraising for local charities throughout the year or adopting angel families for the December holidays. Giving back is part of what makes ours a thriving culture.
